Institute for the adriatic crops and karst reclamation from Split, Croatia, as a partner of the project Interreg IPA CBC, Enhancing competitiveness of olive production in the program area through cross border cooperation - COOPeR, held the knowledge transfer training for participants from olive sector from Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina and Montenegro.
Two-day training took place from 15 to 16 of October, 2021. The first day of the training was held at conference hall of the hotel Ora, Split. On the second day the field training took place on the island of Brač.
The goal of the training was to teach and train participants from the program area additional skills so that they improve their performance, capability or productivity. The training achieved its goal, as well as encouraged communication of the growers with the experts. In addition, the event facilitated direct contact among olive growers from the program area, what led to the exchange of their ideas and experiences.
The participants, most of who were olive growers, through the evaluation form expressed their satisfaction, pointing out that the event was organized at the highest level, the topics were perfectly selected, useful and presented by the most competent experts on an understandable and clear way. The participants asked for more such a trainings and suggested topics for the future events.
